Where are we going dad? This question became the frequent questions to be asked by my kids as soon as their vacations started. We always plan our holidays near to our city where we can enjoy and can spend a lavish time, and also which is not really far away and takes less time for transit. But this year I was planning for some different kind of vacations for my family. So, one of my colleagues suggested me about Kenya safari masai mara and he said that you will enjoy the destination a lot. Initially I was worried about the distance and transit time and transit expenses, but when I saw the happy faces of my family, I was ready.
Kenya, possibly is best known for Masai mara safari and wildlife safaris but on the other hand it also has many things to offer to the tourist in a way of the beach holidays on coastline which is close to Mombasa. The Mombasa city is the "real" busy African city so there is also the stark contrast to sophistication of the Cape Town. On the other hand, there are many great places where you may eat to sample some traditional food of Africa as well as the one who are catering to the western palates. Old town is even well to worth visit and the Fort Jesus, the Portuguese fort which is also built in the year 1593 by order related to King Philip II of Spain that could guard Old Port, Kenya. It is built in man’s shape and was also given Jesus name as the religious reference.
